So I'm asking you fellers and you fellers only so pay attention!! Are ya readin????

Ok. So this truck is going to need some tires. I've already decided that I'm going with some Cooper Cobra Radials with the white letters because I wanna run white letter tires on this and I like the tread pattern. They do well for a guy in all weather.

So this is the question......do I run the stock wheels I have on there now, grab some wheels off an Xtreme from the book of faces marketplace or white wagon wheels? :hmm: I'll post pics below so that you envision the wheel in your brain.

1. Stock wheels (bad angle but you get the idea)

In case it matters, the stock wheels are 14", the Xtremes are 16" and the wagon wheels are 15". If I go with the Wagon Wheels I'll probably grab some American Racing wheels center caps.

So shoot me your opinions :popcorn:

Of those 3 choices, I'd have to go with the stock wheels, not a white wheel fan and the Chevy "mags" aren't my cup either.....BUT your truck, it's gonna look good no matter what!

White letter tires are a great option. How about some rally rims. Same bolt pattern? I think my neighbor has a set he just pulled off his square. If you want i could go ask him about them. I was going to anyway because I wouldn't mind having another set.

If you do go with the wagon wheels I think I'd go black. It'd look better imo and make the white letters pop.

It's a 5x4.75 bolt pattern so that 5x5 won't work.

I've never been a fan of black wheels in any way shape or form but you may be right with that contrast. I will put it in my brain for consideration.

I', with @animal on the ralleys, 8s or 10 in the rear, 7s or 8s in the front, no rings or caps unless you do the smaller disc brake caps. But like I said before, your rig, your money!!

My only problem is wondering those are too wide for the little truck. Know I mean?

Got 14x8s on the rear now with 245-60s, but only 14x6s on the front 205-70s. all fit fine, wouldn't be afraid of 10s on the rear or maybe 8s on the front, but it will all depend on backspacing. I'm a big fan of big n littles(tires) LOL..... I also think that 15s or possibly 16s are a better look, fills up the opening better, but 14s are what we had(slots) and Kooper loves them. Originally was looking at 15x8 and 15x7 ralleys but didn't have the 8s so......

I like the Xtreme wheels. Plus silver painted / clear coated are easy to care for in the ****** winter weather we get in Chief country.

My 92 blazer rwd I'm running 10 in the back and 8 front, different offsets to get them to clear everything. They are 15's. Don't remember exact sizes, but are the widest can fit under without rubbing with a 2" drop.

So school me on backspacing and offset. If I choose between two 15x8 wheels and one has 3” of backspacing and one has 4” of backspacing....tell me what that additional inch does. Which one makes the wheel go out more and which one sucks the wheels into the wheel well more?

3 inches is less backspacing and will make the outer edge of the wheel/tire combo stick out from under the truck further.

4 inches pulls the inner wheel/tire combo closer to the frame to tuck the tires more.
