Newly installed glass seal question

Greetings! About 2 weeks ago we completed swapping out all the glass & door seals from LMC on my daughter's 86 k10. Everything worked great, except there seems to be air coming in around the seal on the drivers side behind the vent window, where the seal pushes into the door. I've never done glass seals before, but it doesn't appear there should be any sealer or anything on it, it just pushes in. And the passenger side seemed to fill the channel & seal like it's supposed to, but that driver's side whistling is driving me mad. The door & channel look normal, not bent or anything.
Anyone deal with this before, or have any tricks for sealing those up?
