Hi Bill, did you ever get the diagram you were looking for? I have a 77 k15 with 9 vacuum ports also. I get close but not close enough. It would help if I just knew what # the source (from the firewall) plugged into.

After a fair amount of work, my A/C controls now work mostly correct. One remaining problem is a bad connection inside that white plastic housing that has all the vacuum connections, but all the replacement controls I've found do not include the vacuum housing. They just sell you the dash control unit it bolts onto.

I have a hard copy of the GM repair manual for my truck, and its pretty complete in the description of the A/C controls. Have you checked the manual downloads from this site? For example, the attachment below is the vacuum line diagram for a 1977.

All the lines are color coded with stripes, and you can still buy the GM hard line to splice lines that are broken. You can use short sections of regular vacuum hose to splice the hard line.

Here's a prior thread about the switch.

On my '79 I found the vacuum control on ebay. It was about $80 for an NOS part 6-7 years ago. Here's the part numbers GM 470333 or ACDelco 15-71518. The Camaro uses the same part; I believe that is what I used. Per GM parts books this was used from 76-82 in C/K vehicles.

I have an 82 C10 With factory ac. The problem im having is im loosing a lot of my air through the vent that points at the transmission tunnel. The Defrost door inside the vent will not open so i checked my vacuum supply line from under the hood and it is connected and is getting vacuum to the vent controller behind the dash. but when i pulled the vacuum line off the defrost doors vacuum diaphragm thing it will not pull vacuum on any setting even thought the main vacuum line is pulling vacuum. this lead me to believe the switch that controls the flow of vacuum pressure on the Climate control unit is bad. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated because i cannot find where to buy that vacuum switch anywhere other than getting a whole new climate control unit. The little yellow box in the picture i posted is what i believe is bad, This is a pic i found online. mine is much dirtier.

I listed the part number a couple posts above. FYI they are getting rare. They have been discontinued since 2011. eBay prices start at $180.

GM 470333 or ACDelco 15-71518

Someone has it listed as a Master Vacuum switch. GM only lists it as a Switch Assembly.
