Im currrently restoring a '80 chevy 4x4 dually with factory a/c, the problem Im having is it only switchs on normal and bi level the rest of the settings wont work, I took and hooked vacuum up to each line without the switch and everything works fine so I think my switch is bad plus when its on the settings that wont work you can hear vacuum leaking from inside the switch, I took it apart but still couldnt get it to stop so I found one in a junkyard but it was the same way, does anybody have any idea where to get a new one like this or even make this one stop leaking, I can find the style like the 80's but nothing for a 70's model, here is a pic of the switch I need

The "Good Job" should go to RetroC10Sport

He's the one who took the time to post those huge parts & illustration lists in the Reference Library. That's where I get all the info that I use to to help people find obscure parts.

That seems to happen alot. When we mention here where you can get a part at a dealership, they're sold out in no time. Pretty sure our visiting people find our threads in search engines, then we've mentioned what dealership or what place has it, and it's gone in no time. I forget what it was now, a dealership had 2 of something, NOS in stock. Our member bought 1 and he posted up about it, I called about it, and the 2nd was already gone too. Imagine that. Parts that sat there for years and years, and sold both in 24 hours.

Here's another one. Down near the bottom of the page. Part number is 470333:

http://thepartguy.com/ac-controls-nova.htm

This one is re-conditioned and costs $60

Or you can try these guys - but it says "call us", that usually means out of stock. But it's only $23, so give it a try. Last one on the page:

http://www.carpartsshed.com/Catalog...earID=1983&Part=A/C and Heater Control Switch

Or Drag Times has one for $25:

http://www.dragtimes.com/parts/Delc...witch--15-71518--OEM-470333_310368312909.html

BTW - you can also search using Delco part #15-71518 - it's the same unit.
