Need help on a wheel size to choose

What is the widest 22 inch wheel I can fit in the rear of my 87 short bed without any major mods. Right now its sitting at factory height but i am gonna eventally drop it just a few inches. Maybe a 2-4 drop.

12 inches is about he max for the rear inner fenderwell clearance. As the wheel travels off camber, anything wider wil rub the inner fenderwell and scuff the sidewall. I had a 12" wide wheel ( not sure of the offset) and it would scuff the inner sidewall terribly. Unless you want to mini tub the rear fenders its will rub.. my square has a 5-7 drop currently with 10" wide x 20 wheels and I have a 3/8" space on the outer fender and about 3/4" on the inner fenderwell. When the rear is off camber, it barely rubs. I have 20x8 up front, but have custom fenderwells.

So I can run a 22x10 in the rear and a 22×8 or 9 in the front with no problem?
