ToDay i had some extra time to go to the local welding shop and get some cable. i was planning on 1/0 awg cable but they were out of stock so i went with #1 cable which actually saved me about $15

Supplies:
10ft of #1 welding cable $24
Welding lugs 6 of them at about 2 bucks each

This cable is way flexable and much cheap and better then your 0 gauge audio wire

I also got some copper welding lugs and soldiered them on.

Ended up acullaly doing 3 grounds (Frame, Block, and front clip)
and the positive one to the alternator

Son of a bitch, nice job. I got to get this done. Where on the motor did you ground to? I read somewhere its best to ground to the block itself or an accessory bracket rather than a head or intake manifold.

I grounded it on one of the serpentine bracket bolt. Was trying to go directly on the head but I didn't have a short enough bolt. I'm very pleased with the way it came out there's alot less alternator whine also. I couldn't get the voltage to go below 14.3v even with the brights on the the radio turned up
