How would you keep them all separate?

Hit the button and see which truck's lights blink, lol.

Seriously though, the stepside is keyless and I absolutely LOVE it. The Burb I traded to Towjoe had it too, it was very handy.

Keyless entry is nice. A/C, good sound system, tilt and cruise.

Every DD I have had before my TB has had manual windows, locks, no working AC, manual trans and my cavi didn't have cruise, tilt or intermittent wipers.

If I were to DD mine...

PassKey type system
Remote start
Auto-dim mirrors - all of 'em
Temp/Compass rearview mirror
Rear defrost
Power locks/windows
Satellite Radio
Cruise
A/C (summer)
Heated cloth seats (winter)
Sound deadener
Headliner
Tinted windows
EFI sytem
O/D transmission
Pushbutton 4wd

Strangely resembles how my 05 Sierra was optioned...

Command start - I live in Canada where it gets damn cold!
Cupholders - not the ones that go in ashtray either
Auto door locks - cause reaching across truck gets old
6L80 trans - fuel milage increase
The rest of the truck was built right from the factory, no fancy options.

Beings as we only have Fords at work and that's just about the only newer trucks I have had a chance to drive, the '02 F-250's that have that pop out dual drink holder. That's about the perfect sized mod to fit in the ash tray hole.

I daily drive my 85...through choice...I could drive whatever...the sonata...the gmc...

I like my 85...its the stock silverado trim, and I feel its enough. I've had fully loaded cars and trucks, and still have some in my driveway. The gmc has backup camera, remote start, heated seats etc.

But I feel like part of the experience of driving an old truck is its old features. However I did add a modern cd player and would like some more nice bass for it. But I'm the same way with the engine, I like the carbd stuff, (when they are running right) and shy away from the LS stuff in my old truck. I just like the way a carb 350 sounds. LS and tbi are too smooth like a new truck. I couldn't have remote start because when the truck has sat for 8 hours or more yiu have to pump the gas twice before cranking lol

Although yall know about the 4L80e. ..so I guess I do like some newer creature comforts

Cars have way to much ********, thats why I drive the old ****.

I cant say enough good about Dynamat though, I think its one of the best upgrades you can make to an old vehicle. Just lining the doors in my 85 made a world of difference. If you line your whole cab up the the windows your crew cab will feel like a brand new Cadillac.

I will be adding a defroster to my K5 because of the snow we get. I grabbed a defroster harness out of a suburban so everything will plug up to a stock fuse box with no custom wiring required. I can use stock switches, relays, and wiring schematics if I have an issue. I'll be getting the defrost grid from here: http://www.frostfighter.com/catalog.htm

Also I will be adding a 3rd brake light soon...basically just a stock cargo light with red leds wired to the brake switch. So I can still have the cargo when I want

I bet one of those cargo bed lamps from a pickup would work really well. ****, now that I think about it that might work on my K5 if I route the wiring through the topper next to the interior light wiring...hmmm
