I am having an issue with vapor lock with the Q-jet on an Edelbrock Performer intake (even with using the thick base gasket), and while i have the 350 apart for other things, decided it would be a good time to install restrictors to limit the exhaust gas flow through the crossover.
I believe I have seen special intake gaskets with those ports blocked off intentionally, but time and money to order them (if they are still available) is not an option.
The envelope says "read installation tips included with this gasket set" but those seem to have vanished.
I have never needed to use the restrictors before and am not familiar with the correct method to install them.
Can somebody please help guide me?
Thanks !!!
