Walker glasspacks were called Blue Swingers. Real pretty shade of metallic blue, a little bit darker than Hawaiian Blue, and they sounded great on the '78 Sierra shop truck with headers. I think Dad probably had the Maremont Cherry Bombs on that '67 C10 with the six in it, when it had the split manifold and duals, and three one barrels on a log manifold. Wish I had that stuff now; he probably sold it after he put it back mostly stock when he sold it to my aunt and uncle. He'd bought the '75 Sierra Classic by then and we didn't need two pickups. But they needed a pickup for my uncle's side hustle doing furniture restoration and repairs. That truck is still probably going somewhere in central Texas.....

I can really only remember the generic red glasspacks that were sold everywhere. JC Whitney, farm stores, etc. Oh yeah, and also the Purple Hornies that were painted a light purple color.

My dad had purple hornies on his '70 Challenger 340 4-speed back in the day, said they bolted right to the headers and then he had some short pipes run and turned out righ tin front of the rear tires. He can't give me **** for all my stuff being loud lol

Last weeks rabbit hole on a repurposed old elementary school. I just had a customer, who’s family cabbin at a lake is a mobile arm barrack. Two module units with bunks and joined together by the bathroom. Bought at auction in the 70’s. They even have the title for them. Sorry, no pics.

Theres a guy in my area that has an underground bunker, like legitimate. Air filtration, thick concrete walls and storage and all. He's sold fireworks out of it before lol.

Picked a spot for one, got some shelves to build and organizing to do. Got some small parts in. Not the final form.

I have one of the two door Delco tune up cabinets that Dad got decades ago from the parts store we had. I'll get a picture sometime; it's in the back of the shop building and it's rather dark back there cause it's a ways from the door....

I love this thread.
Always fun stuff to see and lust for.
We have been toying with the idea of moving from Oregon to North Dakota for a while now.
Small town feel as we would need to be near one of the major cities as my wife needs the health services they have.

My latest finds at the thrift store.
I don't remember if I have posted these before or not.

This is a Velvet Tobacco can from the very early 1900's.

This is a Mickey Mouse flashlight that does not return any search items when I look.
I would imagine it is a souvenir that was sold at the theme park, I would believe it to be something in the vein of "A Christmas Carol" by the way Mickey is dressed.

I am a Playmate cooler nerd for some reason.
We pick them up here and there as they are old and fun.
I found these two and could not pass on them as they both have logos on them that were factory applied.
That and they are not the most common colors I tend find.

It double posted that last one.
So I present my vintage flashlight issues as my wife calls them.

I too have a collection of playmate coolers, because we used them my whole life lol. I've got a factory John Deere one.

Oregon TO North Dakota?!? Sounds backwards buddy!! lol

We welcome you, my only advice would be stay on the SW side of the river and lake and you'll be happy. Just SE of the river ain't too bad, but I'm sure those land prices out there aren't any good either.
