Yep that's the one. Not that bad a job. Maybe it would last longer with some Hilomar sprayed on it.
was very easy. I spent more time cleaning gasket surfaces than disassembly/assembly. The pre-made square sanding blocks came in handy....never really used them until now.

I guess this can go here. I built this trailer awhile back. Never did anything with it. My daughter and her husband bought a house. They have no way to mow their lawn. I have a Toro Timecutter. My daily is to tall to put the mower in the bed. So Operation Lower Tailer started today. It came out OK. Gotta put taillights on it, and go register it as a shop built trailer.

Do we have any mower engine wiring Gurus on here. I ask because I have some riding mowers I purchased for the engines, but they have several wires on them. I'd imagine a couple are for a voltage regulator and some will be for safety cut offs. If any of you are proficient with this I'll get pics and more info. I'd like to use these engines on different projects. Thanks. Anyone know where to get wiring schematics for Briggs engines?

I work at a lawn and garden dealership and repair shop, so I get a lot of opportunities to play with scrapped machines.

This is my "crappyman" mower, as I like to call it. It was scrapped because of the original 21hp brigs single went out. It now has a kawasaki 14.5 hp v-twin, the stock 6 speed transaxle, bigger rear tires straight piped exhaust, throttle pedal, and a pulley swap. It tops out around 25mph and pops a pretty scary wheelie.

Next logical step is 4wd and a lift and take that to the local mudding spots!

Then you have to start making wagers against $20,000 giant trucks. Eventually escalating to pink slips which, by the seat of the mower, you barely win!

But the truck guy, he's angry, he's fuming. He doesnt want to trade pinks anymore. Then you realize everyone there is HIS buddy.

Next thing you know, you wake up in a muddy field with no more mower. Mowers? Now you can't even look at them without flashing back, hands trembling..

Got taillights on today. Used a ammo box for strap storage. Got it weighed. Going to register it tomorrow

I think there are different tools for different applications. I love my zero turn, it "cut" my mowing time down significantly. I got rid of a John Deere riding mower to buy this Hustler and I have never even considered going back to a conventional mower.

My yard was a 2 hour and 40 minute cut with my conventional mower. It is a 1 hour and 40 minute cut with the zero turn. To be fair the old mower was a 15 horse Kohler/38 inch cut and the Hustler is a 26 Horse Kawasaki with a 54 inch cut. But the maneuvarability, the time to turn at each corner is where the zero turn really shines.

But having just one mowing apparatus does not work for me. My Massey Ferguson (pronounced MONSTER Ferguson) sees bush hog duties and has a lot more versatility.

Almost done with the trailer. Welded some angle iron to the floor, built a top rail, and put some fender wells on. Still need to put some paint on it. Need center caps, and beauty rings.
