Any time I crank the wheel and turn on dry pavement, my truck kind of acts like the front end is locked up. But it doesn't have a locker (as far as I know). It just acts kind of lurchy like I'm making a sharp turn in 4 wheel drive. Could it be stuck in 4wd somehow? Any insight?

Manual or auto hubs? With the truck parked and shifted into 2wd (and hubs unlocked if manual), grab a large screw driver and see if you can easily spin both axle shafts. If one or both are sticking, then that's where you need to investigate.

Oh yeah, and try it with the wheels turned a bit too. Then you will find out if you might have a seized u-joint.
