Not sure yet.
Probably not a solution to my question, but I'll ask regardless. The connector from the chassis harness into the cluster makes contact with a flimsy PCB as you all know. I'm thinking I'd like to add some real gauges (i have the cluster with just lights) and instead of hack up my harness I'd like to find the female version of the connector. Does anyone make one? I have had no luck searching which leads me to believe it's probably not a thing. Thanks.

Years ago I pimped out my CUCV Blazer with a silverado gauge cluster. All I did was de-pin and re-pin the plug end and follow the path on the circuit board finding the proper gauge.

Also for anyone not running stock heater controls there is a seller on Etsy that sells 2 versions of a block off plate a blank one and one that takes rocker switches, I have the blank block off on mine.
