If I can get stuff handled, I'm going to try and get it worked out to get this truck....Figured I could either buy it and leave the '87 parked to build up as a project, or buy this...sell the '87... and put the money into finding another G-body car to work on...............

If it's still around in a few weeks, I'm going to check it out....My wife told me to go ahead and get it, and keep the '87 for a project...:) If he's willing to come down on the price some and it's as decent as it sounds, I wouldn't mind having it............

Well, sounds like your wife is a keeper!! :waytogo: that sounds like a deal to me. How far are you going to try and talk him down? If it was me I'd offer $3k cash but be willing to pay $3300:) I hope you end up getting it. I have had several trucks of that body style and really like 'em. I'd like another one at some point:)

I've had a soft spot for the GMT-400s.

I sorta do too, but I prefer the 95 or later dash, and the 96 or later vortec powertrain, so if I had one, it would be a 96-98 model.

I've had a 94 and a 95. Both really nice, clean trucks. The 94 seemed to have more power than the 95. In fact, the 95 seemed to be down right slow. Both had a 350 in 'em so that 95 musta been a down year for power before they went vortec in 96. Overall, I liked my 94 better. I even liked the interior better unlike the vast majority of people :)
