Hi,

while trying to change the fuel filter, I twisted my fuel line a little . Do you think, it has to be replaced? If yes: does anyone know the OEM-Partnumber for the fuel line (1979, K2500, 4 barrel Quadrajet). I searched for hours, but I cannot find this part in the parts catalog or the illustration manual...

Thank you!

Did you try running the truck? If it doesnt leak you've answered your question. It doesnt look that bad to me.

If you want to replace it for peace of mind check out inlinetube.com and they will get you set up.

If it ain't leaking you're good to go. Don't worry about it.

For future reference before you replace these fittings you can run the nut up the tubing and put a small bit of grease on the back side of the flare. Definitely not inside the flare. When you tighten it back down the nut can spin ever so slightly on the flare so it doesn't bend or kink the tubing.
