I'm in a process of installing a kill switch. I was planning to add a hidden switch and relay to starter solenoid wire. How to find a wire to starter/starter solenoid under the dash easiest? How many amps relay would I need?

Honesty? Lol. That’s funny when in the context of dealing with the govt. But I’m sure the OP would gladly let you cover the additional tax bill.
Not saying I like overtaxation and will legally avoid all taxes possible—and certainly not here to pass judgement on the OP. We do have some direction on this though…

Matthew 22:21 and Romans 13:6-7 are a couple examples.

That being said, sounds like the taxes in Canada are just as crazy as my state.

Just leave it to where it starts. But loosen all the valves enough to where it's a clatterin' sumbitch when it's running.

#16 resurrected a dead thread for different information.

Remove the rotor from the distributor.

Move a bunch of plug wires around.

Drain the fuel tank

Unplug the 3 wire connector from the distributor cap.

I read through them for an hour, but did not find a description of wiring under the dash that I would have understood clear enoug. The last time I figured the cruise control wiring I used wiring diagrams and spare parts pics, maybe thats what I need to do again.

Pull the solenoid wire at the ignition switch or the ignition hot lead at the ignition switch or the ignition switch power lead at the ignition switch. I think you'd be better off to use an instant alarm with no lights or stickers so no warning to the thief. They open the unlocked door surprise a honking horn that won't shut off and flashing lights. They run off no damage to your truck. This might even catch someone trying to use a tow truck, especially if you have a motion sensor. Your way hidden kill switch, they break a window, smash your column, then find out the truck won't start,if they are 1/2 smart they find your hidden switch because they know it's close to the driver,or they short the solenoid with a screwdriver or jumper wire the coil to the alternator.

I'm sure @Matt69olds was responding to O.P.s 1st post and his thread. So his suggestions were perfect for the O.P.. This is a common problem people come in at the end of a thread looking for a different solution for a different problem or reason, but people are still mostly going to respond to post 1. 1 is the 1st thing we see when we open the link.
