Horns

Can I test the horns and electric windows by just directly connecting them to the battery. I don’t want to burn them out.

Yes. But should research the windows motors. There are 2 styles. 1 uses 2 hot wires 1 for up 1 for down and the motor case as ground. The other uses 1 hot 1 ground and reverse polarity for up and down. I do not remember by year which is which

Also consider why you are testing a unit. You might want to include a fuse in your test connection. It depends on the failure mode and your test setup which sort of flame and spark and smoke you might create without one.
