Anyone know what year these changed for a 350? I swear if you go by Summit, Jegs, Rock or even Amazon, you'll get 2-3 different answers.

I think the earlier ones had 3 bolts? Later had 1? Dunno. Just wondered about years.

Thanks.

The 5 in my garage all have 3 bolts and are from '86 or older BBC & SBC. I thought the main difference is the location of the timing mark. I could be wrong, I am old.

Yeah, there can be 3 different locations for the timing mark, several different diameters and there's a version that's "external balance" for a 400 crank. They are all retained with one bolt and are press fit as well, and they all have 3 bolt holes for the crank pulley.

I found a really good deal on a etched damper - need it for a 97. Summit and Jeg's both say they fit, yet Rock says 68-85, and Amazon just says Gen 1.

Sounds like it will 'fit' but the markings will be off. Nuts....probably have to settle for a stocker.
