Just sent you an email on this set of NOS rear panels:

You must be registered for see images attach

Just saw the ebay posting - unfortunately there is only 20 minutes left. Only one bid for $75.

Barely got a bid in! Let's see if I get it :) 6 min left. Can't believe they are that cheap

I have a question. How come they say the stuff we color our OEM vinyl parts with a 'dye' when it's actually a paint? I used SEM on my '86 to go from blue to black and all it was was spray paint. Just a surface cover. Thoughts?

LOL good question. To me, when it's a plastic panel it's just painting. I think the term "dye" comes in when changing the colors of carpet or other fabrics although many of the interior spray paints can be used for both painting the panels as well as "dying" the carpets or velour panels. Maybe someone else will know more technical answers. That's just what pops in my head without bothering Mr. Google.

It's not dyeing, which usually involves immersion of fabrics in a vat of liquid. We're spray painting our interiors.

Its just easy to say you're dyeing things.

I've always called it that.

Okay, thanks for all the answers. I thought maybe I kept missing seeing the 'dye' when looking for 'vinyl dye'.
