Now the correct color, and yes, it gets better mileage, has more power, and turns more heads like this...

I agree. it's a color you don't see that much. On my wishlist is a 79 K10 or K20 scottsdale with a Optional sbc400 and 4spd. My dads Best buddie had a k10 with a 400. swb. 12" lift and 40s. Old school

I like all the colors. I like to go period correct, but ultimately, you be you. Have fun!
Black does look tuff...

Wouldn't a good reason to go to non-orange be a cost issue since black is about the cheapest paint out there.

@Maxwellvis is putting a big block into his Suburban and would not let me paint it hot pink.
Wussie.

Hey, I've got one of those too. Same part# and all. My truck is a '90, so must have been replaced in '96. I guess yours was replaced in '94... unless they used those same tags for a while... then it would have been '84.

My '90 was obviously somebody's hot rod. Engine replaced in '96. When I got the truck, that engine had spun bearings and lifters coming apart, lol.

Now i'm curious how many guys have one of these on their 6.2s. Not a Reman tag, but original from the assembly plant. Has to be one of the extremely few. Not mine btw. But damn i wish. I'm gonna have one made for my 82. I know they had Barcodes on them

A bit lost on "Corporate Blue" as Chevy blue is different from Olds and Pontiac. Not sure about Buick ...

Buick was the same. Afaik, when i researched this color, it was no different from any GM Divisioned brand. Only part # or name changed of the color.

I have a 1986 C10 that I bought from the original owner. My C10 has a 305 V8 and it’s Chevrolet Orange.
I had an '86 K10 w/305 and it was black.
