How much clearance do I need between the exhaust manifolds and the motor mounts?

I'm putting a '75 350 in an 86 K10 using the 86 motor mounts. The driver side, from what I can tell, is touching the top side of the motor mount.

Can I use longer bolts and "lift" the engine using spacers/washers between the mounts and engine?

The '75 mounts looked the same but I didn't spend a lot of time comparing. I put the exhaust on after the engine was installed, not prior.

Thanks In Advance
'Maro

Just notch the clamshell mount enough that they don't touch.
