I found a 10 mm ratcheting wrench in the bumper of a car I was working on once. I said a prayer and lit a candle thanking the wrench gods for the bounty laid upon me.

It's amazing the kinds of tools you might find in a car. Big things too. I once found a 3 foot prybar behind the front bumper of a Toyota and then a 4lb sledgehammer under the hood of a Grand Prix.

My dad was a truck driver (retired) and mechanic. We found a 10 inch steak knife in the oil pan of a Peterbuilt that he bought new.
