TX has rolling emission exempt status, 25 years and older it is saftey inspection only testing so this year all 87 and older vehicles are exempt. Thank God. On a side note I'm hoping to offset the emission of at least 15 Toyota Prius's when I put in my 454/TH400/3.73 12bolt. HEHE!

It may be wrong, but that's a great feeling. I really love booking on down the highway in the 4x4 crew cab dually with 454, th400, and 4.56 gears... roaring right past those little eco cars.

I can't say that. My 454/Th400 truck has 3.21's with OEM exhaust and you can't even hear the damn thing running. Not even at idle. Now you get on it, and you hear the carb groan and it sounds mean but that's it.

I wish I would have left my emissions in tact, only reason it got removed was chasing the problem caused by not re connecting my PCV. Now I have to go back and figure out where everything goes along with buying a new manifold for EGR.

Why, do you have to have it where you live?

No, its not required but I want everything operational in case I move somewhere I need it. I like the messy stock look too haha.

I will be needing those vacuum diagrams in the future, and probably ask a zillion questions. I am going back to quadrajet also.
