I don't know a whole lot about radiators but i am buying a new one for my 383 stroker build. its going in a 1987 Chevy pickup truck. any suggestions on radiators and how do i mount electric fans to the radiator? are there any kits that are under 500 bucks (radiator and fans included). Is there something i can buy just to attach the fans to a radiator?

I've got RF24 3800-4000 CFM 18" T-Bird fan assemblies mounted inside a stock truck shroud pre-wired with my 3-speed conversion harness. It works off either the LS harness with dual fan outputs or can be wired as a stand alone using a dual temp BMW coolant switch mounted in an aluminum T which mounts inline on your upper radiator hose.

Shoot me your email and I can send pics!

With the fan shroud ears trimmed off, this is the fit inside an 81-87 shroud...

Nice setup, is the fan mounted to the shroud or the radiator?.

It's mounted to the shroud-I used aluminum pop rivers on top and bottom-then hid the wiring.

I've got the T-bird fan on my TPI Sierra. On a 110 degree day with the A/C on full blast, coolant temp doesn't get above 190.
