My Edlebrock Performer 600 sits on an adapter to the stock spreadbore manifold on my 195/260 350 CID Goodwrench motor.

Is there any benefit, performance or economy, to swapping out the manifold to a square port Edelbrock manifold?

Or should I leave the damn thing alone?

I’m thinking any improvements or losses would be negligible. You could even argue that your adapter acts as a spacer, which is possibly adding a little bit of economy and performance because of better fuel ionization and what not. I would save the money from not buying an intake to treat myself to drinks, steak, other truck parts/accessories, or something for Mrs. Jim.
