It's just a thi k washer, remove the center bolt and washer and install your pulley.

As I recall the BBC I installed a CVF front drive system on had a balancer that was recessed in the center, similar to this: https://www.cjponyparts.com/harmoni...with-big-block-396-402-chevy-engine/p/HB6329/ So it does appear that are types?I am curious about your big block application though, as I've never been aware of any balancer that required a special crank pulley.

It may be that CVF makes lower pulleys or adapter/spacers to accommodate different harmonic balancers but could not find this on their website. The first responser, who suggested contacting them, had I think the best response.
I was only trying to offer my experience, other's may have a different expericence or opinion. I certainly don't know it all.
