Hey guys, so I'm redoing my interior over the winter, and ran into a dilemma with the rectangular door trims. I couldn't find replacement without straps, and was never a fan of the pattern they had in them from factory so I made some out of aluminum. Heres some pics.

The pieces were cut from 1/4 aluminum plate on cnc water jet then I had to do a little trimming and filing to get the fit just perfect. Then I just carefully drilled and tapped the backs, installed set screws, hand brushed them and two coats of clearcoat. Hope you like.

Are you going to sell them? or are you just being a aluminum tease? They look real nice, I want a set.

I knew this question was inevitable haha. At the moment I'm super busy getting my new garage finished along with working on the truck whenever I can, once life is a little more calm I would like to probably do a run of five sets to sell depending on demand. I'm sure they would sell no problem but it's a fair bit of work to make a perfect finished product.

Very cleanly done! Makes for a classy, factory style door panel.

Sharp. Maybe someday when you get more time, and get the perfect fit and program the CNC, you can run off a few sets pretty quick. I have a feeling, priced right, you could sell a few. In the meantime, get your post count up and participate, so you can use the Classifieds section.

Very nice work! They look really good!

I know the feeling of being busy. I was going to (and still want to) try and come up with a program to machine some cab emblems, but I just have not found time to do it. I also have a grille emblem programmed for my truck, but have not had time to sneak it on my machines at the shop.

Anyone have a bowtie cab emblem laying around they can send me so I can take measurements?
