Normally im not the "whats it worth" guy, and as a matter if fact, never have been.

But im wondering.... a guy is offering me practically new 38.5x11x15 boggers and a chevy srw dana 60 for my 24" lift springs... i will gladly take that, if i can flip the chevy 60 for a good profit.

What do they sell for in ya'lls areas?

@Curt @Frankenchevy i know you boys have chevy 60's under your trucks.

Ford kingpin 60s usually start at 1500 minimum, and go up and up and up in price.

This is a 4.10, open diff. Complete hub to hub with brakes, single rear wheel setup.

Please let me know.

Frankenchevy and I live near the Rubicon trail. They're worth $2000-2500, because most of the good ones out here are gone. Our wrecking yards out here don't keep vehicles in inventory for very long before they get scrapped.

What am I, chopped liver?! Lol

$1,200-$1,500 for a 60 front in good shape where i'm from in the Midwest. Doesn't really matter the brand either.

I was wondering.... they dont exist on FB marketplace or craigslist here anymore... wrecking yards? Yeah. Forget it.

From what i understand and remember, here in my area, chevy SRW 60's START at 1500, and go as high as 2500 or more, just because they dont exist anymore. (Here)

The ford 60s, 87-91 kingpin 60s are about 800-2000, the 78 and 79 kingpin 60's are starting at 2000.

Dodge kingpin 60= worthless.

In my area that axle would typically go for $1000-$1200.

Same here.

Asking prices may be higher, but 1000-1200 for a SRW that's not a big ball of rust would be about normal.

If you do that trade deal, maybe you should just keep the D60 for later down the road in case you decide to convert your Suburban :)

Honestly,I’d keep it.I’ve had 4 GM Dana 60s in my 20 year 4x4 career. The last one I got was really hard to find and cost 900$

I put another 1200$ in bearings,brakes,rotors,hubs,kingpin parts,and ring&pinion,plus my time.

Also,I drove 16hrs round trip to get it.
So all in I have roughly 2500$-3000$.

I talked to Boyce equipment in Utah that specializes in CUCVs and military trucks. They wanted 3500$ for a stock rebuilt unit,no lockers or upgrades.

As good as they are, they can be bent, king pins damaged, scored housing, cracked out plug welds on tubes, bent or collapsed driver spring perch.

I would look it over with a microscope.Pull the cover off.
