That is a fact. Only reason I am selling this one is because of the duramax swap I am doing now instead.

LOL! I figured if I threw that out there enough it would eventually hit paydirt. Same reason old folks drive around with their turn signal on.

Why isn't the 5300 more gooder than the 5700? Do they got the same bore?
Anybody ever built a 9/16 vortex? A 362?
Can you run 2 inch rods OR WHAT?

If I read your question right the 5.3 LS is better than the 5.7 SBC given the stock components each come with. The 5.3 can be bored out to the neighborhood of 383 CI but not much beyond that and that is a combo of bore and stroke changes from what I have read. I'm not sure what you mean by 9/16 Vortex to be honest...
