I bought a 73/74 front clip for my 83 k10. The wheel wells/inner fenders are ugly and the passenger side one is completely rusted away where it bolts to the radiator support. No steel left. However, the ones on my truck currently are in plenty good shape. Can I just use what I have?
They're a slightly different shape, but they look like they bolt in the same locations. I would assume they'd bolt right on, but LMC lists the inner fenders as ones for 73-80 and ones for 81-87.
Also, one last consideration, I want to fit 33s at stock factory height, and with the fact that they're slightly different in shape, would I have more rubbing with one year than the other?
Thanks
