Still was the Limited package. :p

Interesting, I didn't remember that part of it. I remember seeing a few of them when they were new, and I'm pretty sure Stacey David tested one out on the original Trucks show, But I've only seen one or two since then. I only remember the Z71 badges on em, lol.

I do believe they still had the Limited on the doors like the 2WDs. Anyhow, we are digressing.:gathering:

Bwhahaha. I really hate when no one seems to double check their posts to make sure it sounds right, but this one's an exception, the result is hilarious!

This is parked down the street. It's ok, nothing special. Older repaint, covers hiding the seat and dash, one big dent in the bedside, and oil seepage from the engine and trans. In other words, typical condition for it's year. NADA Guide shows a book value range of $4975 - $19,300 with an average value of $9925. I thought "Wow, the values have really come up on squares. I wonder what my burb is worth."

NADA for an '89 Suburban V2500: Range of $2922 - $7698 with an average value of $5611. What a kick in the nuts! That truck is worth $4300 more than mine on average. Guess I should have bought a pickup instead of a Suburban.

Surprised a long bed would be worth more than a burb because so many people prefer short bed trucks. I wonder how they figure what these squares are "worth" anyway. Who comes up with these values?

I looked underneath it, not a bit of rust anywhere. Still a $5k truck to me at best.

For some reason older Suburbans don't hold their value as well as a pickup. Even a long bed pickup is worth more than a Suburban usually. I don't quite understand, because I think Suburbans are more useful and look better... but I guess nobody asked me :p

All that doesn't apply just to square body burbs - GMT400 as well.

It's definitely strange because up to this point my 07 burb has held its value better than its pickup brothers. That might change as it ages, though  oh well, it only matters when you either want to sell a square or buy one. I don't plan on selling mine lol At those NADA prices, though, it makes me wonder what my 77 will be "worth" in another 10-20 years. Lol
