Merry Christmas everyone. I need wisdom from the brain trust here. I have a 62 short bed that has 87ish jb5 brakes on all 4 corners. I need master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, etc. I would like the proportioning valve to be up by the master. I want to use stock parts for ease of repair. Any advice on the best/easiest parts to use?

I know this isn’t stock but would it be a good choice?

From what I have read almost all of the combination valves available are junk, they all look identical to the one you linked above. Maybe the POL stuff is better IDK.

I ordered this one from Summit racing and cant get it to stop leaking.

I'd consider a hydroboost system. You can piece one together from an Astro Van or newer truck, but I'd reach out to CPP. They are small, somewhat clean, and work real well.
