First off, there are two distinct eras of seat tracks, '80-older and then '81-later. '80-older had slider knobs on the side, while later seat tracks had slider knobs on the front.
As for seat and track styles, let's start of with the K5 buckets. They were the same basic design from '73-'85. They were low-back seats through mid '77, then high-back through '85. Bolt pattern was the same for both styles. Passenger folding seat latch was changed from peg style to hook style in '78. In '81 the drivers slider knob moved from the side to the front and the bolt location slightly changed at the floor. In '86, the K5 got a new design of seat tracks and seats. The new seats shared the same bolt pattern as many other GM cars of the time.
