one of my neighbors put a 1994 (?) type out of a catalog in a square body.

best seat I ever sat in was a 2002 GMC

so yeah,...head rests...for aristocrats.

Might be similar to the 2005 Tahoe seats. Comfy.
gmc yukon, same,...fat comfy, powered. such could come with 2 captains chairs and the funny jump seat instead of the center consol
but I would think similar comfy bench would exist in pickups.

pick n pull /local part outs may have great things.

Wouldn’t the flat floor of gmt 400 and taller pedestal the seat sits on as a result of the design change pose an issue mounting in a square body with the gas tanks under the floorboard?

Not if you adapt the mounting brackets from your Squarebody seat to the obs seat…
