Beacon setup on a work rig

I've got a couple of beacons and aux lights I'm planning on throwing on my squarebody and wanted to see how the people here have done it! If you've got a wrecker, road work truck or anything of the sort with spinny ambers, I want to see it!
I got the lights for my old gmt400 originally, but never got to installing them. All the same, the following picture is how I planned it and how I intend to install them on my burb:

Well the center aux's are going to be hella 550's instead of the jumbo 320's pictured, but anyway.

When wiring them, take power directly from the battery via a continuous duty solenoid, using heavy gauge wire. Size everything based on the total current draw of the lighting. This allows for a low amp switch inside the cab, while sending full power to the lights. This is how I used to wire tow trucks when lights were all incandescent. Lights will be nice and bright and spin at the proper speed. It's also safer, you won't have overheating wires.

I have separated all the lights of the truck from original, made a relay box and the entire front light loom with appropriate size wires for all. Parking lights, low beams, high beams, aux high beams, and beacons. Everything has its own relay.

None. There is none, this is just a hobby. I used to work for my fathers trucking company and also run little errands with my own vehicle, so there I had some little use for beacons, but currently the beacons are on purely for fun.
I don't know how it is for you in the states, but here in Finland there is no laws prohibiting beacons from vehicles with no use for them. But I mean it is dumb to have them for no reason, I just love the way they look and this is a project car that only gets driven a little.
