Here are the finished pics of the 489. 11.2/1 compression, should be a ripper.

Looking good, She'll scream for sure.

I went to a toothed belt setup because mine kept tossing the V belts and spinning/squealing 6 rib serpentine style belts.

Also, that 850 may want a lot of jet.

I am sure you are right, but I tune with Wideband and a/f gauge. It will take some time, but once it is dialed in, it will stay that way. I like the smell of a carb.
