All three of my four-wheeled vehicles have ashtrays and cigarette lighters. Kind of a point of pride.

He did not say he's using them...

My last car that went all out was a 2006 Mercedes E class. Three ashtrays, three cig lighters. (Front center, one in each rear door.)

The Germans took smoking seriously at the turn in last century.

I am with that gentleman. I don't buy anything without an ashtray for the same reason. I have never smoked anything, but I don't like on board computers or sensors. The stuff with ashtrays I can mostly fix myself. As for my Square Body's, I usually install a cup holder where the ashtray was.

uh silly question... but how are your lungs?
Just fine, as far as I know. The ashtrays and lighters are virginal.

Of course, as my grandfather used to say, "If one thing don't get you, somethin' else will."
