I just want you to know....
That I just liked this comment and it was your 9,000th like.
You are welcome!

He's a solid dude, so I gave him an extra like just because. And also just because the now imperfect number might drive some people's OCD off the charts!

First one is from a 89 mark 4. Second is from the 91 mark 5 engine I just got in it. The tubes were the same size so i used the better of the 2 but the dipsticks are just a little diffrent length. Would have thought they would be the same.

I use to use Fram too until I seen a number of side by side comparisons with other well known filters. The Fram filters seem to have much inferior components and even are assembled haphazardly. To each there own but I personally will not use another Fram product on any of my vehicles. I now only use WIX products, a few pennies more but I feel it's worth it to help protect my rides better. And I also put rare earth magnets on the bottom of the filter when I change them. The video is easily found on Youtube. Just type in Fram oil filter and it should be close to the top of your results

Here's a pic of the oil pan. I like how the drain plug is in the middle pointing down on the bottom of the pan.

I added another quart today and it came up to the add 1 quart spot. That's 8 quarts now.

I’ll try to measure my dipstick and tube tomorrow. It’s stock and I’m pretty sure it’s a 7 quart system with the filter.
