Honestly, unless you want factory look, just buy a tray bottom, a 4' piece of 1/4"x2" flatbar, make your own mount brackets, weld bar to tray and hole on other ends to mount with bolts, paint and install. Easy peazy.

i wonder if these CUCV trays would work in a 73-80 because if so, the rear mounted tray here shown would be perfect for me.. wouldnt even touch the current one. Id mount an AGM sideways and any size would certainly clear

this is from a 81+ square with the driver side. I wonder if it would fit a 1973-1980 with no changes? Fenders were different but how different? wheeel tubs?

Nice setup, the extra weight on the pass side would balance out my fat ass being in the drivers seat, lol.

Lol, I do that all the time with my Geo Metro...load 400lbs of crap in the back and try to drive home...because I can afford to drive to buy crap off craigslist when I get 50mpg but not if I drive the truck at 8mpg, lol. To make it real fun, I bring the wife. ;)

Which side is auxiliary? My C10 is an '80 that at one time had an Olds Diesel and has been a 403 for years. It has been parked for a while and I'm now going through it and the trays on both sides need to replace but I really only need the one on the drivers side, that's whee the starter is. I'm guessing stock of on the passenger side? I just need to make sure when I order I order the right thing.

Given that most are Chevy powered the tray on the drivers side would be auxiliary and since mine has an Olds with the starter on the drivers side that would be the tray I need.

Thanks
