I replaced my brake lines on my V3500 with Inline stainless. You are supposed to tighten and loosen the fittings 3 times. Each time you will notice the nut tightens more each time. I tried doing more than 3 and noticed after 4 or 5 times the nut was at the same spot. I am sure annealing makes this easier.
