Posting a picture of A box located under my dash next to my fuse block on my 74 c10 with a 350 and 3 on the tree. Any idea what it is and why it’s there? I’ve don’t ever remember my dads 74 having that.

It ain't stock GM.
Pull it off the firewall and check for numbers on the back.
I second what Roger said. If I had to take a stab, it's a controller for an aftermarket distributor, why it would be inside the cab I'm not sure. Pull it off and see what's written on the back if anything.

Wow ok I would have never guess that especially since I don’t see any thing else that goes with it we’re you could set it to cruise.

I don’t see any thing else that goes with it we’re you could set it to cruise.

lol, you probably have the Cruise Sentry 1 where, after installing that module, you control the vehicle's speed with your right foot.
