I hope this is the right spot in the forum for this question.. Anywho, I've been pricing out air horns this morning and not really sure where to start with all of the mixed up info on the web. I want something loud and a low bass note. No squealing junk. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGHER-QUAL...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item27cef4030d
There is a link to a kit I was looking at, but once again, I don't know where to start. What do I need to be looking for? Any insight would be highly appreciated!! Thanks guys.

The larger the bells and lines will give you the deepest note and those look relativly small.

depending on your budget your best bang for your buck is hornblasters. I had the cheapest hornblasters kit on my old ford and it honestly shook the house windows when done in the driveway.

Look for train horns but remember the bigger the horn the bigger the air tank you'll need for them, they wont run off straight underhood compressor like the cheap little ones at Advance or similar parts places.

I had this set about 12-13 years ago, very loud with 1/2in air line and ball valve.

I've been looking at horns also. Found a kit from Viair that are big rig horns and they sound nice.
