Checked primary oil level, clutch adjustment and chain adjustment, all ended being ok. Brake light switch is acting up and found a big hack with battery attachment. Cleaned, and removed accessory plug that was installed.
Also having hard time getting left tank fill to actually open. And there is oil leaking somewhere, but I guess not too bad.

It is some sort of chrome paint, which will be a pain to touch up on the tank. Will either spray a stripe/pattern on the sides of the tank or leave it alone

Are you sure the left tank opens?

I was wondering about that, but right one has R label on it, and that is the only setting on fuel selector that can get fuel. There is also a clear separation inside of the tank

I think that’s just a fake cap If I remember correctly. If you can get 5+ gallons in it your getting to both sides of the tank.

Had a night train myself. the left side cap is supposed to be your gas gauge and not meant to open but with yours being custom ????, also like someone else said if you are filling to 5 gallons you are getting to both tanks.

If you are still having issues then look a the cross over hose near the front of the tank. It goes under the frame rail. That might be kinked or the tubes got crimped.

what color are you painting it?
Just doing the sides in black. Will see how it looks overall. Maybe repaint the whole thing if I keep it long enough.

black will definitely contrast the shiny faux chrome tins.
