I had a 2.8 in a camero with that same intake just buy the whole intake kit it in there and youll need all of it anyways to put it back together STOP being cheap whrn it coes to sealing the intake.

GM has discontinued that kit, and there is no aftermarket option.

Yep its 2 piece manifold. The fuel rail w/injectors mounts in the bottom section of the manifold. Then 2 fuel lines go into bracket that bolts on top in the back of the fuel rail.

Here's pic

Dave, open your eyes. That is a 3 piece manifold, and there's still 2 of them shown in the pic. You don't need to remove the lower section for what you are trying to fix, but remove everything else and see how it works. Buy a gasket set and some injector o-rings and then put it all back together and be done with it.

GM has discontinued that kit, and there is no aftermarket option.

I bought an entire gasket set from NAPA a couple years ago, it wasn't that expensive either.

Had to remove the intake also cause it was leaking also. I'm only seeing 2 pieces. Top and bottom pendelm. Unless the fuel rail is the 3rd piece.

The engine is back together except the fuel adapter that goes on the fuel rail.

Fixed. Ended up making a gasket. Nobody had the head gasket set in stock anyways.

Thats not it....see my GM diagram in earlier post.
Not in the NAPA kit either.

I ordered it for an '86 Celebrity (same intake as '85-'92 Camaro), it came with the gaskets for my '85-'86 style intake and timing cover, as well as the '87-'93 2.8/3.1 FWD intake and timing cover.

Had to remove the intake also cause it was leaking also. I'm only seeing 2 pieces. Top and bottom pendelm. Unless the fuel rail is the 3rd piece.

The engine is back together except the fuel adapter that goes on the fuel rail.

There's a big lower manifold that is partially covered by the valve covers, much like those ford boat anchors that you love.

Gotta take it all apart. Another student adjusted the rock arm nuts and the teacher checked his work. He went by what all data said to do it. It has loud lifter noise.
