85 C1500 and 88 C1500 front suspension

I just wanna double check but the front suspensions on the 85 and 88 c1500 are different on how they bolt on to the frame. I had someone tell me that the 88 c1500 had the same bolt on suspension like a 85 c1500.

I am not 100% certain of the bolt on for the 88, but if you are asking as to interchage them, I doubt they do. The 88 frame is wider to accomadate the fuel tank being inside the frame rails.

That and being completely different body styles (since we're talking 1/2 ton vs 1/2 ton) I think it'd be pretty iffy on the parts being interchangeable suspension wise as I'd think they'd go with a new set up anyway. :shrug:
