Okay so 305 heads are off the table.. Anyone have any suggestions on the rotating assembly I should get?

Look up and call northern auto parts. Very well priced and well known. Good folks.

Then find some heads from a shop rebuilt or junk yard and get them rebuilt. You will want to hone the block as to promote piston ring seal

How much does it cost to get hot tanked and honed?
