Would anyone have the engine specs (compression, cam lift/duration etc) for the factory 350 4V in my 84 K2500.

Thanks!

Snap a pic of the RPO codes in the glove box and post it.

You think? Seems pretty bare bones in terms of creature comforts.

They’re nice options in terms of utility, some in terms of luxury. Luxury for a 70s-80s truck was velour seats, tilt steering, air conditioning, pulse wipers, cruise, power windows and locks, and a radio with either an 8 track deck, cassette deck, or CB attachment. If you have any of those, you’re on your way. If you have all of them, you’re on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous: Square Body Edition. I can’t imagine wanting anymore bells and whistles than that.

Well lookit! A factory built 3/4 ton with a 700r4... I always thought that combo to be an old wife's tale.

Trade for a turbo 400? LOL. In all seriousness I'm sure the 700R can handle all 160 or so ponies this thing is putting out!

But can it handle the 10k trailer pulling back on it. Also always though the 3/4 with a 700r4 was a conversion. GM heritage center has breakdowns by year and lists figures with hp vs torque plots. 3/4 tons usually received a different cam that gains torque under the curve and sacrifices top hp

The '87 v20 I parted out last year, was a 700r truck too. Up this way, it seems like most of the 3/4 trucks that had the 14b SF, got the 700.

HELL NO!
(My truck has no hitch on it, LOL).

Hey, speaking of hitches, can I put one on with the factory spare tire under the truck?

Also does the type of rear bumper (not some big old drop bumper) play a factor in the hitch mount?

My rear bumper. No idea what it's off... how long it's been on my 84.
