1978 K10 auto to 4 spd manual swap

last of my loose ends that I can think of are steering column, front driveshaft, and speedometer. I plan to still change it to a manual column. If I can't locate my 73 column I might try to use an 84 column.
As for speedometer. I need to find out what colors I need for the 208 with 3.73 (GT4) gears. I think I currently have colors for 3.08s blue and black

One more piece done. A friend brought over a good shift boot for me with a ring, he thought it was out of a 78 too lol. I cleaned it up and got it in. I packed it with some floor insulation I pulled from a 03 suburban and its so quiet down there now.
Oh yeah. How do I remove the shift knob on the transfer case shifter? I want to remove and clean that boot up too.
