1978 custom deluxe 20 or c20 4wd 2wd shifter

So i have a 1978 chevy custom deluxe 20 which i believe is same as a c20. so, i need to know what its in 4wd or 2wd would 4wd be the shifter all the way towards the dash? or opposite? please let me know, thank you.

Welcome to GMSB. If it's a C20 it is a 2wd truck. K20 would be the 4wd truck. Which transfer case is in the truck?
