sounds weird to not get fuel or spark. Could it be an ECM failure?? Might want to start checking fuel system and ignition system separately. Check power connection to the coil, check the condition of your ground strap. OH WAIT! After reading what you just did to it, I would start with...- dhamp

Radio issues, any ideas?
I have 0 experience w/installing XM tuners, but was it on when you cut the wire? Even if not, It may have shorted something in the antenna circuit that's causing the it to wreak havoc with the unit. I'd try replacing it, or at least the antenna cabling to see if that fixes things.- dhamp

lights/turn signals
When mine started acting all weird like that (certain lights working at certain times, then not working at other times) changing the flashers fixed it for less that $20. However, the new one ticks so softly that I can't hear it when my signals are on. Gotta make sure to keep an eye on that so...- dhamp

Ran the C20 off in a ditch
I don't know if they're all like this, but if you get the bed corner pieces (below the tail lights) with the new mounting clips, you might want to get 2 or 3 extra. Those pieces are a pain in the azz to get on and the clips break fairly easy. They come with a little o-ring at the base of clip...- dhamp

Overdrive questions
What size tires on it? I'm just speculating here, but it sounds to me like what someone would do with upsized tires on a numerically lower axle ratio like 3.08s. That way the thing won't creep into OD when you're doing 45 around town and constantly strain on the tranny.- dhamp

'87 Silverado V20 Issue. Fuel pump/rain???
Don't know if it's the same, but mine has always given me issues when it sits or is driven in hard rain since I've had it. Supposedly (according to my old man) it didn't start doing that until he put an aftermarket dizzy cap on it. I went back w/a delco cap last summer, but I haven't left it...- dhamp
