The mufflers will be best with the 2.5" inlets/outlets correct? When going with the 2.5 exhaust? I'm assuming that would work best for the fabricator.

On the many square bodies I have had I always went with the offset inlet , center out let as well, (fit well for me) unless I ran glass packs.

Found the 44s on Summit and the Doug Tri-Ys. There are three different models of the Tri-Ys. Does anyone know the difference between them? The only thing I can find different between them on Summit is the following:

THY-364Y-C; $733; spark plug location, angled/straight

THY-364Y-DA-C; $750; Fits applications with no catalytic converter and has dual AIR fittings;

THY-364Y-S-C; $784; Y-Pipe Crossover Included; Includes Smog Ports

Not sure what all that means.


Will I need to purchase anything else for the fabricator to get the exhaust attached?

1st one is for trucks without any emissions components. Second 2 are for trucks with emissions (cats and/or air pump)

Yes ^^^

#3 is supplied with a "Y" pipe, and that directs all the exhaust to the stock catalytic convertor location. Designed to meet all the emission requirements at that time.

The Y pipe is an extra piece that is not supplied with #2.

I guess I'll be getting the first one because I don't see any catalytic convertors on mine now lol.
